About Us

This experience exposed a glaring gap between academic instruction and real-world industry demands. Young people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds were being taught outdated skills, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and unemployment. This realization inspired the team to step into the world of vocational education, leading to the establishment of Sowrya Siddi Skills in 2025.

The team pioneered India’s first curriculum on Panel TV Repair and shifted focus toward up-to-date technical skills that aligned with current industry needs. Their programs emphasized defined career pathways, entrepreneurial opportunities, and even placements abroad.

Today, Sowrya Siddi Skills stands as one of India’s leading vocational training organizations, training nearly 20,000 individuals annually in fields such as Electronics, Telecom, Renewable Energy, and emerging New Age Skills. These programs are delivered across 30 centers in 18 states across the country.

With a robust IT backbone, the organization is now scaling its capacity to train 50,000 individuals annually over the next 18 months.

Our journey has been filled with both successes and failures, but each step has brought valuable lessons. As we look ahead, our mission remains clear: to continuously reimagine vocational training for students from underserved communities—unlocking their potential and enabling India to harness its demographic dividend.

None of this would have been possible without the relentless dedication of our passionate team and the unwavering belief of our partners.

In essence, a group of 70 individuals who once lacked direction in 2008 has, over time, empowered more than 100,000 people with skills and sustainable livelihoods.
